Programme overview
Boilermakers build and repair the steel structures, tanks, boilers and pressure vessels used in mining, power generation, manufacturing and construction. This Occupational Certificate develops your ability to mark off, cut, shape, weld and assemble heavy plate and pipe.
Workshop-based training and workplace exposure prepare you to undertake the national trade test as a qualified boilermaker.
